Bible Comes to Life
Many folk will remember the Bible Comes to life Exhibitions which were held throughout Ireland during the late 1980’s.

A touring exhibition with models, costumes and artifacts that bring the places and peoples of the Bible to life.

  • Meet the people, see where they worshipped, visit their homes and eat and drink with them!

This unique exhibition, hosted by Clogher Diocesan Board of Mission, returns again after 25 years to Enniskillen!

The Exhibition is being held in

On Tuesday 27th June, a packed room of 90 people at Belfast Castle welcomed Kelvin Crombie author, historian and former CMJ worker, to present his new Documentary
31st October - Destiny’s Date?
Kelvin introduced the documentary which outlines four significant events which fell on the 31st October.

The Reformation under Martin Luther at Wittenberg in Germany in 1517, the visit of Kaiser Wilhelm II to Jerusalem in 1898, the Battle of Beersheba and the signing of the Balfour Declaration in London in 1917.

The documentary brings together Biblical prophecy and threads of history exploring the connection between these four history changing events and how they led to the establishment of a national homeland for the Jewish people. The links are such that it almost seems that they were destined to occur on the same day.

Filming for the documentary crossed countries including Israel, Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany and Turkey and includes interviews with Prinz Philip von Preussen the great, great grandson of Wilhelm 11, who is also an evangelical Lutheran pastor, Lord Balfour, a descendant of Arthur Balfour, Lord Simon Reading, Sister Joela of the Mary Sisters in Darmstadt, Rev David Pileggi and many others.

Kelvin’s documentary promotes an understanding of Israel and is intended for secular, Jewish and Christian viewers and poses the question, “What then is the destiny of these events?”   “Are they mere historical coincidences or is there an ultimate purpose for them?”
An evening of music, drama and teaching all centred on the Feast of Tabernacles.
